Refund Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how fees and refunds work for UltraCodey, provided by Emulation LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Today, UltraCodey is free. During the private beta the Service is offered on a Free plan at no charge, so there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund. The terms below apply if and when paid plans become available.
Contents
1. Current status: free beta
UltraCodey is currently in a private beta and the full app is available on the Free plan at no cost. We do not collect payment for the Service at this time, and no charge will be made to you through the Service.
2. Paid plans (when available)
We may introduce a paid plan (for example, Ultra) in the future. If we do, the price, billing frequency (such as monthly or annual), renewal terms, and any taxes will be shown to you before you purchase, and you will be asked to agree to them at checkout. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date, and you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel. Where automatic-renewal laws apply, we will provide the required disclosures and obtain your consent at checkout, send any required renewal reminders, and let you cancel online as easily as you subscribed.
3. Refund default for future paid plans
Except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly stated in this policy, all payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or features you did not use. This includes amounts already paid for a current subscription period.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid plan at any time. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that. Cancelling does not generate a refund for the current period. After the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan (or loses paid features), and your data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
5. Exceptions & your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you cannot waive under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. For example, some jurisdictions (such as the EU and UK) give consumers a limited right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period; where such rights apply, we honor them. If a required refund applies, contact us and we will process it as the law requires.
6. Third-party provider charges
Any fees you incur directly from third-party AI providers or other services you connect to UltraCodey are billed by those providers under their own terms. We do not control and cannot refund charges made by third parties; please contact the provider for those.
7. Billing errors & chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge — contact us within 30 days at ultracodey@gmail.com and we will review it promptly and correct genuine errors. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; filing a chargeback for a valid charge may result in suspension of your account. This does not limit any right you have to dispute unauthorized, fraudulent, or legally disputable charges.
8. How to contact billing support
For any billing question, email ultracodey@gmail.com from your account email and include the relevant details. We aim to respond promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and changes apply to purchases made after they take effect.
