Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with UltraCodey. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as the Service evolves.
Contents
1. Core principle
You are responsible for what you do with UltraCodey, including the actions you authorize the agent to take and the use you make of its output. Use the Service lawfully, respect the rights of others, and only operate on systems, data, and accounts you own or are clearly authorized to access.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- break the law, or to plan, promote, or carry out illegal activity;
- infringe or misappropriate intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, or privacy rights;
- create or distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, accounts, or data;
- steal, harvest, expose, or misuse credentials, API keys, tokens, secrets, or other confidential information;
- attack, disrupt, or overload any system or network, including denial-of-service activity;
- harass, threaten, defame, or harm others, or produce content that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- generate or distribute spam, phishing, fraud, scams, or deceptive content, or impersonate any person or organization;
- build prohibited weapons, or facilitate serious physical harm or other high-risk activities;
- violate the terms, usage limits, or rights of any third-party service or AI provider you connect; or
- collect, process, or expose other people's personal data without a lawful basis and proper authorization.
3. Security & dual-use tooling
UltraCodey can assist with legitimate security work — such as authorized testing, defensive security, security research, and education. You may use these capabilities only on systems you own or have explicit, documented permission to assess, within the scope of that permission, and only in compliance with applicable law. You may not use the Service to develop or deploy offensive capabilities against third parties, create or modify malware, evade detection for malicious purposes, maintain unauthorized persistence, or conduct unauthorized intrusion, surveillance, credential theft, or data exfiltration.
4. Protecting the Service
You may not:
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, licensing, authentication, or usage limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly permits;
- access the Service or its account systems through automated means in a way that burdens or abuses them, or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization;
- resell, sublicense, or share your account or credentials; or
- misrepresent your identity or your authority to act.
5. Content & output
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, testing code before release, and ensuring your use of output is lawful and does not infringe others' rights. Do not present AI output as professional legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.
6. Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this AUP or our Terms, we may take action proportionate to the issue — including warning you, removing access to features, suspending or pausing your account, or terminating it. Where activity appears unlawful or poses a risk to others, we may report it to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with lawful requests. Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund; see our Refund Policy.
7. Reporting abuse
To report abuse, security concerns, or a violation of this policy, email ultracodey@gmail.com. Please include enough detail for us to investigate.
